"Nicker"
8 x 8 feet, wood, ferro cement, ceramic floor tile
This is a piece I made several years ago in memory of a friend.
The materials used are recycled. The wood is salvaged. The floor tile is left over, and recovered tile. The metal used is from an old style satellite dish that I disassembled.
My heart knew immediately. I saw the title and felt that same ache that always happens when I think of the vessel that held his charisma and pure energy cracked open and lifeless.
